Dr. Claire Weekes is renowned internationally for her special understanding and treatment of nervous illness. She was a trailblazer who offered a cure not a panacea, and pioneered a world renowned method of giving you back control over your mind.
Her first book, Self Help for Your Nerves, published in Australia, (Hope and Help for Your Nerves in the USA) was printed in 1963 and is still in print today.
Her devotion to explaining her method and to helping patients to recover, led her to work extensively in Europe and America. Dr. Weekes always took a personal interest in and treasured the letters people sent to her. She replied personally to every letter and her phone bills were astronomical. Her work was so highly regarded that she was nominated for the Nobel Prize in 1989.
In 1930 Dr. Weekes was the first woman to obtain a Doctor of Science degree at the University of Sydney, Australia. In 1945 she graduated in medicine, culminating in being elected a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
Her excellent diagnostic skill came as a result of combining elements of these two degrees, analysis from Science and anatomy from Medicine. The strength of her step-by-step method lies in her belief that the mind and the body react together. She believed that nervous illness can begin very simply, developing from stress and nervous fatigue, to produce a pattern of symptoms which can become more frightening than the original cause.
Before her death in 1990, Dr. Weekes requested her works reman readily available worldwide. Claire Weekes Publications Pty. Ltd. was formed to ensure that her wish was executed. Her books, audio recordings and the DVD are recommended by doctors and are currently treasured by many grateful patients worldwide.
Through these resources Dr. Weeks has helped thousands more people than it would have been possible for her to consult personally. Dr. Weekes teaches you, through simple steps to reverse your pattern of symptoms and to find your inner strength, bringing about a permanent cure.
When you listen to her calming voice you have Dr. Claire Weekes beside you, supporting you all the way
